HSSE Field Officer (m/f/d) – Full-time with willingness to travel throughout Germany
Field of activity
You are the point of contact for your colleagues and subcontractors in the area of HSSE.
You work closely with Sunovis and Brookfield's HSSE management.
Independent performance of anticipated weekly audits and HSE inspections on construction sites/facilities, which are primarily located in the new federal states.
You are responsible for approving the work of subcontractors on site at construction sites.
Independent performance of hazard assessments and risk analyses, coordination of tasks in the area of occupational safety and environmental protection within the specialist department.
Preparation of legally required documentation (operating and environmental instructions, training documents).
Emergency measures management (fire protection, emergency drills, support for emergency coordinators, etc.).
Support and independent further development of the safety culture.
You actively participate in HSE meetings with contractors and customers.
Your profile
You have completed technical training or a degree and already have some professional experience in the above-mentioned areas, preferably in the solar or construction industry.
You have in-depth knowledge of HSE-related laws, regulations, standards, and official requirements, as well as a good understanding of HSE practices on site.
Ideally, you will have a qualification as an occupational safety specialist and/or an additional qualification as a safety and health protection coordinator.
You have solid hands-on skills and are willing to travel throughout Germany (on average approx. 4 days/week).
You have an independent and structured approach to work, are reliable, and have good assertiveness skills.
You are able to respond flexibly and quickly to changing problems.
You have very good knowledge of MS Office applications.
You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
You have a Class B driver's license.
